Summary of Event:

NewCloud Networks will be conducting Emergency system maintenance on our Veeam VBR and VSPC platform to implement a hotfix from Veeam to resolve connectivity issues between 12:00 EST (12:00PM EST) and 15:00 EST (3PM EST) on Thursday September 30th.

Customer Impact:

The effect of this will be: During this maintenance window Veeam CloudConnect VBR and VSPC will be available off and on, backups will continue as normal after the scheduled window.

NewCloud Networks is currently experiencing connectivity issues with Veeam VSPC for all data centers. We are aware of the issue and working closely with Veeam support on a resolution. We will be doing emergency maintenance to get back up as soon as possible

Summary of Event:

Implementation of Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 5c cumulative patch. Upgrade will occur in Denver and Phoenix NewCloud Networks Data Centers.

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 services will be stopped during a portion of the maintenance window.

All other NewCloud Networks services will NOT be impacted by this patch implementation.

Customer Impact:

Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 and related backup data related will not be available during a portion of the maintenance window.

Otava Acquires NewCloud Networks

Acquisition Strengthens Product Portfolio, Accelerates Nationwide Network Strategy, and Expands Global Footprint 

August 17, 2021, Ann Arbor, Mich. — Otava, a global leader in custom and compliant hybrid cloud solutions, today announced it has acquired cloud services provider NewCloud Networks. The acquisition of NewCloud bolsters Otava’s solutions portfolio, adds a nationwide 10Gb network and adds to Otava’s geographic footprint for a total of eighteen cloud nodes available worldwide. The deal increases Otava’s employee count by approximately a third, and brings a growing base of enterprise and channel customers.

As a result of the acquisition, Otava gains a robust product portfolio that includes security services, cloud backup, disaster recovery, remote desktop, production cloud, and a comprehensive managed security toolset. NewCloud has enabled an on-demand webstore making it easy for customers to purchase solutions online via a convenient storefront. In addition, the company provides Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions that ensure secure management of  today’s distributed workforce environments.

Incident Alert – Phoenix Veeam CloudConnect

NewCloud Networks is currently experiencing connectivity issues with Veeam CloudConnect in its Phoenix data center. We are aware of the issue and working closely with Veeam Support and Development Teams on a resolution. Connections are not available to Veeam Cloud Connect Services at this time.

We expect this outage to be resolved in the next 1.5 hours.
