NewCloud Networks announces the successful completion of SOC 2 Type I Certification for its data centers.
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — NewCloud Networks, a nationwide Cloud Services Provider, obtained its SOC 2 certification for its Cloud Data Centers and Organization Controls. SOC 2 is a formal report established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) on “Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality or Privacy for Data Center and Technical Operations.” (AICPA.org) The SOC certification report is “intended to meet the needs of a broad range of users that need to understand internal control at a service organization (service provider) as it relates to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy,” (AICPA.org). As a security measure to assure its customers that NewCloud Networks has the necessary systems, process, and tools in place to provide a secure and reliable Cloud Environment, the company chose a nationally recognized Consulting and CPA firm, Coal Fire Systems, to audit and provide its findings for the SOC 2 report and certification. “We want our customers to have the utmost trust in the security of our infrastructure,” says Vu Tran, Senior Vice President of Operations at NewCloud Networks. “By attaining our SOC certification, we can give our existing customers and potential prospects peace of mind knowing that our security measures and internal data center processes have been evaluated by the AICPA and have been deemed appropriate for hosting our customers’ valuable data.”
