NewCloud Networks, a national cloud computing and communications provider, today announced continued United States expansion with the launch of its Los Angeles cloud data center. The production cloud node is located in CoreSite’s One Wilshire data center, one of the most network-dense colocation facilities on the West Coast. The new capacity addresses immediate customer demand and is a key component of the company’s national, ultra-low-latency cloud network.
“Los Angeles is a cornerstone market for NewCloud Networks,” said Sam V. Kumar, NewCloud Networks founder and president. “We now feature production cloud nodes in the most interconnected data centers on each coast, telx at 60 Hudson in New York City and One Wilshire in Los Angeles. This demonstrates our commitment to superior cloud performance and end-user experience. NewCloud’s national, ultra-low-latency cloud network optimizes delivery of network-sensitive services like cloud backup and DR, hosted PBX, and desktop as a service.”
NewCloud’s Los Angeles customers have access to the company’s full suite of cloud services effective immediately. Use cases include primary infrastructure for production applications, backup and DR cloud infrastructure, and a combination of in-market primary/backup resources tethered to out-of-market resources delivered from NewCloud’s Denver or Phoenix cloud nodes.
“At NewCloud, we believe customers should never have to choose between cost and cloud resources that address their specific performance, security, and compliance needs,” continued Kumar. “In bringing NewCloud Los Angeles online, West Coast and national cloud users can procure high-performance cloud solutions at rates comparable to major commodity cloud providers.”
